Courses available on SL-Institute

SL-Institute offers two types of course.

1. Online courses built on the smart learning platform. They include lessons, modules, quizzes, audios and videos. This content is available 24/7 on the platform.

To complete a course, you must follow all the chapters and pass all the exercises, which include quizzes and activities. If you don't, your progress bar won't show that you've completed the course and, for those eligible, you won't be able to access the certificate. Use the progress bar to check the status of each quiz and activity to ensure that they have been completed. If you have checked all the exercises and your progress remains incomplete, there may be a technical problem. Please contact us by clicking on "Contact us" and indicate in your request the name of the course, add a link to the course, include a screenshot, the name of your browser and the name of your operating system, etc. Our technical team will investigate the problem. Our technical team will investigate the problem.

2. Electronic books (e-books) are available as digital downloads.

These courses introduce the different concepts and allow you to learn on your device, at your own pace. You don't need to log on to the platform every time you want to work through the courses. Some exercises are available on the eBooks for you to practice.

Report a typo or error in a course
Our training teams are constantly working on the quality and updating of our courses, but errors can slip through the net. If you encounter an error in a course, please let our team know by clicking on the "Contact us" button in the footer at the bottom of the page. If possible, please include a screenshot and any additional details.
What should I do if videos or images are not available?
Below are several troubleshooting options for you to consider:
- Check the plug-ins installed on your browsers, such as AdBlock, which can block images and videos.
- Change your browser or deactivate certain plug-ins; you should be able to watch our videos without worry.

If you're still unable to access the site, it may also be due to a security system set up on your network, particularly in a professional environment, with a restrictive firewall.
- If you're not on a home network, ask the administrator if they can change your access authorizations.
- If you're on a home network, add www.sl-institute.com as an authorized site to see if this solves the problem.

Course certificates for eBooks available for digital download
The student must complete the exercises presented in the eBook and send a copy to admin@sl-institute.com.

SL-Institute checks the work done and takes a few days to send the certificate by e-mail in PDF format.
Course certificates for online courses
A course certificate is an official SL-Institute document confirming that you have successfully completed a course on SL-Institute.

View your course certificates
You can view all the course certificates you have earned on your certificates page. From there, you can download, print or share your certificates.
You can also visit your course page or downloads page to see the courses you have taken but for which you have not obtained a course certificate, as well as your final grades in all the courses you have taken.

A course certificate includes:
- The name of the course
- The name of the student
- The instructor's signature
- A statement that SL-Institute has confirmed the identity of the learner who has taken the course.

A course certificate does not include:
- Academic credit from the partner institution offering the course
- The final grade you achieved in the course
- Your passport photo
- Hours spent working on the course
- A printed or mailed copy of the course certificate. Certificates are supplied as downloadable PDF files, which you can print out yourself. You can also share them electronically.

Unfortunately, SL-Institute cannot provide course certificates with more information than they already contain. SL-Institute cannot provide any information or documentation about your course progress, completion, grades or other information outside the course certificate.
Your certificate for a course will be written in the language in which you took the course.

Academic or professional credit
SL-Institute certificates do not carry professional or academic credit. If you need to know whether an SL-Institute certificate will count towards the accreditation of a specific organization or program, please ask a representative of that organization or program.
